December 15th, 2008 · Jonathan Williams · No Comments

Today, Representative James E. Smith agreed to conduct a video interview about the 1st session of the 118th General Assembly that convenes on January 13, 2009. In this interview, I asked the following four questions:

  1. What do you hope to accomplish this session? (0:09)
  2. What do you think the General Assembly’s main focus will be this session? (7:29)
  3. Have you prefiled any bills that you are really excited about? (9:04)
  4. How are the state budget cuts and the current economic situation going to affect what you personally do during this session? (10:58)

This video was recorded on 12/15/08 with a Flip video camera:

UPDATE: Sorry to those who viewed the video and wondered why it just cut off. For some reason Google Videos didn’t upload the whole video. This version has the missing last 4 minutes.
