Rep. Anton Gunn Discusses the 2009-2010 South Carolina Budget

March 25th, 2009 · Jonathan Williams · 2 Comments

Yesterday, I conducted an interview with Representative Anton Gunn about the 2009-2010 South Carolina Budget (H. 3560) as it was passed by the House of Representatives. In the interview, I asked the following five questions:

  1. What is your overall impression of the budget passed by the House of Representatives? (0:09)
  2. Was there anything that didn’t make it into the budget that you would have liked to see? (1:30)
  3. Do you feel the budget passed by the House takes the necessary steps to ensure that the General Assembly won’t have another emergency session? (2:33)
  4. How did the federal stimulus money come into play during budget week? (3:12)
  5. Do you feel the Senate will make any drastic changes to the budget? (4:34)

This interview was recorded on 3/24/09 with a Flip video camera:

Nice job. It’s unfortunate Columbia media isn’t doing more of this. I guess their crime reports fill up the first 15 minutes and the weather the rest.

    Keep it up!
