SENATOR RICK SANTORUM TO JOIN MICK MULVANEY IN PROSPERITY

Lancaster, SC — Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) will join S.C. Senator Mick Mulvaney, Republican candidate for Congress (SC-05), at a meet and greet reception in Newberry County on May 22, 2010.

Senator Santorum remarked, “I’m pleased to support Mick Mulvaney for Congress. He will be a fighter for our conservative values by cutting taxes, reining in spending, and reducing the size of government — something that is critical in these troubling economic times. As a
small businessman and state legislator, Mick has a record of being a vocal advocate for South Carolina families, and I’m confident that record will continue as the next congressman from South Carolina’s fifth congressional district.”

The event will be held at the home of Chad and Dana Connelly located at 107 Connelly Drive in Prosperity, S.C. The event will begin at 2:00 PM. Tickets for the reception are $50 per couple and $25 per person. Multiple sponsorship levels are available.

“We are going to be talking about out-of-control spending a lot in this campaign,” Senator Mulvaney said, “And rightly so, as Washington’s addiction to deficit spending has our economy teetering on complete breakdown. I am looking forward to talking about exactly that with Senator Santorum in Newberry County this Saturday.”
