(Columbia, SC) - Today, the Haley for Governor campaign announced that Governor Sarah Palin will be making automated phone calls in support of Nikki Haley’s candidacy.

In response to the calls, Haley for Governor Campaign Manager Tim Pearson released the following statement: “Few people know better than Sarah Palin what it means for a conservative reformer to take on the establishment – and the blowback that comes with it. Her support has been a tremendous blessing to Nikki and our campaign, and we very much appreciate her help in getting Nikki’s message out in the last few days of the race. Come Tuesday, Nikki Haley will take South Carolina government back where it belongs – to the people.”

Hi there. This is Governor Sarah Palin.

I’m calling on behalf of my good friend, and a brave and strong conservative woman, Nikki Haley.

On Tuesday, you can do something great for South Carolina and for America by voting for Nikki Haley for Governor in the Republican primary.

Nikki is a strong, pro-life, pro-business, conservative reformer.

And she isn’t afraid to take on the entrenched powers.

When you do that, they come after you with all kinds of made-up nonsense to try to knock you down. Believe me, I’ve been there.
